Cabot Properties is a private equity real estate investment firm. The firm is a leading investor, developer and operator of industrial properties throughout the United States. The firm was initially formed in 1986 and since that time the senior principals of the firm have been responsible for over $3 billion in property investments. In 1998, Cabot formed Cabot Industrial Trust, which was sold for $2.1 billion in 2001. Cabot also sponsored the Cabot Industrial Value Fund, which was sold for $700 million in July 2005.

Cabot is currently the sponsor of the Cabot Industrial Value Fund II and is seeking to invest $1.3 billion in the industrial property sector, focusing on major markets throughout North America.
