Helena Buonanno Foulkes is an accomplished CEO and senior executive known for her purpose-driven, community-focused leadership and transformative impact across industries. Over 25 years at CVS Health, she rose from the store design team to President of Retail, leading 200,000 employees and driving $80 billion in revenue. She spearheaded innovations like the ExtraCare loyalty program, enhanced prescription affordability, and made the landmark decision to remove tobacco products from all 8,000 stores—a deeply personal choice shaped by her own and her mother’s battles with cancer.

As CEO and board member of Hudson’s Bay Company, Helena led a major business transformation, modernizing operations, strengthening leadership, driving strategic transactions, and positioning the company for long-term digital success. Earlier in her career, she worked at Goldman Sachs and Tiffany & Co.

Named to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business and Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business lists, Helena serves on several boards, including Costco, Follett Higher Education, Crossroads RI, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, she lives in Rhode Island with her husband and four grown children.
